Taxonomical remark. This species resembles Mesochorus tetricus by the very long and slightly down-curved ovipositor sheaths (c. 1.3 × longer than hind metatarsus). It differs by the apical yellow band on 2 nd tergite; mainly pale 3 rd tergite; and vespoid apical tergites. Mesochorus terebratus has been described in detail by Riedel (2019: 116) and was recently synonymized with Mesochorus skanensis Vikberg ( Riedel 2020) .
