Type species: Neobelocera asymmetrica Ding & Yang, 1986 (original designation).
Diagnosis
The genus Neobelocera is easily distinguished from other genera of Tropidocephalini by the following combination of characters: antennae with first segment subsagittate, markedly flattened, a longitudinal carina down middle, the ventral apical angle longer than dorsal apical angle ( Figs 1E View Fig , 2B View Fig , 3E View Fig , 4B View Fig ); when postclypeus viewed in profile, apical part of median carina bent at rounded angle, not at right angle ( Figs 1D View Fig , 3D View Fig ) ( Hou & Chen 2010; Hu & Ding 2014).
