Original description. Golemansky 1970, P. 367, Fig. 13.
Description. Shell small, pyriform, pointed aborally, oval in transverse section, transparent, colorless, covered with rare sand grains. The aperture is circular.
Measurements. Shell length 20–24 µm, shell width 12–14 µm, aperture diameter 4–5 µm.
Habitat. Marine psammon.
Geographical distribution. Baltic Sea, Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Caribbean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean.
