Material examined. 1 ♀, Fuchu , Tokyo, x.1955, T. Tachikawa lgt. & det .; 1 ♀, Tokyo, ex Thysanoplusia intermixta , x.1955, T. Ichinose lgt. T. Tachikawa det. ( ELKU) .

Distribution. Japan: Honshu ( ISHII 1928). Cosmopolitan ( NOYES 2016).

Comments. We were not able to find the type material of C. maculata .
