Materials examined. USA: Florida: St. Lucie County: Ft. Pierce, University of Florida Biological Research and Containment Laboratory, 1.iv.2010. Schinus terebinthifolia (Lindsay Christ)   ( FSCA # E2010-2189 View Materials ) ( FSCA, slide mounted, ethanol)   ; same but 1.ix.2012 (Eric Ottoson and Rodrigo Diaz) ( FSCA, slide and dry mounted, ethanol) (original permit voucher collections). Diagnosis. Description by Burckhardt et al. (2018).

Distribution. Brazil ( Burckhardt et al. 2018). Reared in quarantine in Florida as possible biological control for Brazilian peppertree.

Host plants. Schinus terebinthifolia Raddi   ( Anacardiaceae   ).

Comments. Of the three species tested as potential biological control for S . terebinthifolia   , this one might be the most promising.
