Remarks. Eremocharis brachyptera was described by Ramme (1952: 196). Shumakov (1963: 66) cited it following Ramme. Cejchan (1969: 237) described a subspecies (see the next subspecies), but Presa & Garcia (1983: 9), Otte (1994: 144) and Eades et al. (2016) listed erroneously this species in the genus Eremopeza .
