Remarks. Similarly in the Yozgat population of G. holtzi pulchripes (Uvarov) , the Karasakal population of this subspecies have also creamish-yellow (body color) hind tibia, which is an ecological adaptation and has no taxonomic value. It is also possible that this kind of hind leg color results from treatment of the samples with alcohol.

The paratypes of G. holtzi brachypterus Ünal collected from Hamamkarahisar are reidentified. They actually belong to this subspecies. One female identified as G. escherichi (Krauss) in the ZIN belongs to this taxon.
