Diagnosis. Recognised by pale yellow to yellow colouration of the dorsum; dark brown eyes, red ocelli, dark brown face below antennae, pale orange mesoscutum, yellow V-shaped mark on the scutellum, transparent membrane, and ventrally reddish-brown abdomen. Total length 2.25 mm ( McAtee & Malloch 1932).
Type material examined. Holotype (♀): INDIA: Maharashtra, Matheran, Kolaba District , 1902, 800 meters, Biró leg. ( ZMHF).
Distribution. India (Maharashtra).
