Speleognahopsis charadricola Fain, 1964a: 35 , figs. 15–16, 1985a: 150. Holotype in RMCA, examined. Type host: Charadrius pecuarius Temminck View in CoL ( Charadriiformes View in CoL : Charadriidae View in CoL ) from Central Africa.
Diagnosis. Palp tarsus with 3 setae (2 ventral BNa-type, 1 dorsal BD-type), solenidion absent; palp tibia without setae. Hypostomal setae BNa-type. Propodonotum with 6 pairs of setae. Setae ve situated anterior to level of sensillae si. Sensillae SAa-type, other dorsal and ventral (including coxal setae) setae BDa-type. Genital series with 2 pairs of setae. Setae 1a, 3a and 4a present. Number of leg setae: coxae 2–0–1–0, femora 7–4–3–3.
Host and distribution. Charadriiformes (Charadriidae) : Charadrius pecuarius Temminck from Central Africa ( Fain 1964a).
