Parasecia gurneyi (Ewing)

Charleston Co., Magnolia Gardens, 15 September 1972, ex Eumeces laticeps , coll. R.R. Montanuccii.

Parasecia gurneyi is known from Maryland, Florida west to Louisiana, eastern Texas, Oklahoma, eastern Kansas, and southeast Nebraska ( Loomis 1956). Larvae have been taken from species of lizards, snakes, and mammals throughout its range.
