Euschoengastia peromysci was collected in the mountain, piedmont, and coastal plain regions of South Carolina. Joy et al. (1973) reported E. peromysci from Microtus pennsylvanicus , P. leucopus , and Sylvilagus floridanus (Allen) in West Virginia; and Crossley and Proctor (1971) reported it from Tamias striatus (Linnaeus) and M. pinetorum from the piedmont of Georgia.
