Solenopotes binipilosus (Fahrenholz)

Unlisted locations in the state, January 1963 – April 1970, ex Odocoileus virginianus (Zimmermann) , coll. Kellogg, Kistner, Strickland, and Gerrish (Kellogg et al., 1971).

This sucking louse of deer is widely distributed across the southeastern United States and Kellogg et al. (1971) reported S. binipilosus from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
