Notes.

This taxon was described from the Great Caucasus. Two syntype workers were investigated labelled " Solenopsis fugax . Latr. v. Solenopsis scythica Sant", "Alages Caucase, Mejunoff.", "ANTWEB CASENT 0913886"; depository NHM Basel. The placement of the worker type specimens within the S. fugax cluster has been shown in the analyses above.
