TYPE LOCALITY: Zaire, Kasai Occidental, Luluabourg .
DISTRIBUTION: Zaire, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Angola, Zambia, Mozambique.
SYNONYMS: chitauensis.
COMMENTS: Subgenus Mops . Probably a subspecies of demonstrator . Records from Botswana and Madagascar definitely condylurus , see Meester et al. (1986:74) and Hayman and Hill (1971:61).
