COMMENTS. The first correct record in Russia. All earlier reports ofthis species from Siberia and the Far East [cf. Eskov, 1994] appear to refer to B. gracilis (Blackwall, 1841) [ Marusik et al., 1992b], In addition to the Maritime Province, this species was found also on Kunashir (northernmost locality) and Shikotan islands (personal data). Outside Russia known from Hokkaido and Honshu, Japan [ Yaginuma, 1977] and northeastern China [ Song et al., 1999].
