Micaria japonica Hayashi, 1985 View in CoL **

Chikuni, 1989: 121, f. 18; Namkung et al., 1995: f. 1-4.

Material examined: 1 ♀, [03] Khanka Lata, SF. shore , 44º39'N 132°34'E, 15- 16:07.1998, YM GoogleMaps .; 1 ♀, Lazo Town, Lazovka River valley , 43º23'N 133º54'E, 17.04.1999, YS GoogleMaps .

COMMENTS. The first record in Russia, earlier known only from Japan (Tsurusaki, personal communication) and Korea [Namkung et al., 1996). Rather close to M. tripunctata , also known from the Far East (see below), but can be easily separated by the considerably wider apical epigynal pocket, shape of tegulum and o f palpal tibia. Maybe conspecific with M.violens Oliger, 1983 , described from the Maritime Province.
