Chonocephalus raposoensis sp. nov.

The name refers to the locality, Rio Raposo, where this species was first collected.

Male. Length and greatest breadth of postpedicel subequal. Left side of epandrium as Fig. 101 ; right side as Fig. 102 and gonopods and hypandrium as Fig. 103 . Wing 0.9–1.3 mm long. Costal index 0.54–0.60. Vein 3 with a terminal vesicle which extends beyond with tip of costa. Distal third of mid tibia is white.

Material. Holotype male, Costa Rica, Puntarenas, Las Cruces Biological Station , 8.80 o N, 82.97 o W, 1200 m, Malaise trap, 7–17 November 2005, G. Kung & A. Kreuter ( CUMZ, 26-78) . Paratypes, 13 males as holo- type except one 14–19 September 2005 ( CUMZ, LACM, 26-78-81) . 3 paratype males, Colombia, Rio Raposo , light trap, August, 1963, January and July 1964, V . H. Lee ( USNM) .
