Dendrocoelum nuraghum was collected from a cave in northwestern Sardinia (Monte Majore Cave). Besides a sphincter in the bursal canal (see above), animals are provided with a pair of eyes and are characterized by the presence of a single common vas deferens as well as a pseudoflagellum ( Stocchino et al., 2008, 2013c).
