Notes:— The Plant List (2012) places this species as a synonym of Specklinia corniculata (Sw.) Mutel. View in CoL This appears to be an error as the holotype, Swartz s.n.!, at BM features stems about as long as the leaf (vs. shorter than the leaf) and a racemose inflorescence (vs. solitary flowered inflorescence).
