Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: Includes papuana; see Laurie and Hill (1954) and Hill (1983). Includes solomonis, considered a distinct species by McKean (1972). See Flannery (1995 a, b) and Bonaccorso (1998).
