Diagnosis. Male: Clypeus, supraclypeal area, paraocular area, outer half of the swollen scape and mandibles all with yellowish marks (fig. 9b); upper portion of paraocular area with a depress along the margin of eyes; propodeum TRN, OBL and lateral carina indistinct, basal area of propodeum mainly with longitudinal and cancellate wrinkles, posterior portion rugose, subcontiguously punctured (fig. 9d); T1 moderately shiny, punctures uniformly distributed, minute and dense (fig. 9f); terminalia see Figs. 10a–f View FIGURE 10 . Female: marks on paraocular area under antennal socket and upper anterior tentorial pit (fig. 9a); frons above antennae area with extremely minute punctures and wrinkles; T1 transverse lineolate-reticulation, shiny, punctures minute and close (fig. 9e).
Description. Male (Holotype). Measurements: BL 6.49mm; WL 4.62mm; HL 1.50mm; HW 1.59mm; CI 1.50; SI 1.28.
Coloration: The following yellowish: marks on clypeus, supraclypeal area, paraocular area, outer half of scape and mandibles; marks on pronotal lobe, and spot on anterior portion of tegula; lateral side of fore tibia, most part of fore basitarsus; basal 1/4 and apical 1/4 of middle tibia, middle basitarsus; basal half of hind tibia, hind basitarsus; and tibial spur. Other all basitarsi, mediotarsi, distitarsi and tarsal claws yellowish brown. Apical part of mandibles transparent reddish brown. Flagellum, veins and stigma, and apical bands of tergum reddish brown. Other parts all black.
Structure: Clypeus, supraclypeal area and lower portion of paraocular area pit-reticulation, punctures minute, scattered, and evenly distributed on clypeus; upper portion of paraocular area with a depress along the margin of eyes, punctures fine and dense; scape moderately dilated, half with mark; frons and vertex with minute and subcontiguous punctures, uniformly distributed; genal area a little narrower than eyes in lateral view, striation, punctures minute and close; malar area very short, with weak longitudinal wrinkles; pronotal collar slightly roundly thickened, obviously attenuated toward middle; punctures on scape minute and scattered; mesoscutum pitreticulation, moderately shiny, with minute and close punctures; scutellum pit-reticulation, punctures minute and close to sparse; metanotum dull, punctures sparse to scattered, or irregularly shaped; mesopleuron pit-reticulation, moderately shiny, in central part punctures minute and dense to close; propodeum TRN, OBL and lateral carina indistinct, basal area of propodeum mainly with longitudinal and cancellate wrinkles, posterior portion rugose, subcontiguously punctured (fig. 9d); terga transverse lineolate-reticulate, T1 moderately shiny, punctures uniformly distributed, minute and dense (fig. 9f), T2 and the following terga similar to T1, but punctures a little bigger and denser.
Pilosity: Hairs on apical margin of clypeus whitish and very sparse; hairs on vertex and frons brown, long and sparse; scape with erect brown hairs, long and sparse; hairs on flagellum whitish brown, dense and short; hairs on genal area white, moderate long and dense; hairs on mesoscutum, scutellum, and metanotum brown, moderate long and sparse; hairs on mesopleuron brown, short and sparse; posterior portion of propodeum white, short and dense; pronotal lobe with short dense yellowish hairs; legs with short and dense whitish hairs; hairs on T1 brown, extremely short and sparse; the following terga hairs extremely short and becoming denser than those on T1.

Female (Paratype). Measurements: BL 6.58mm; WL 4.42mm; HL 1.59mm; HW 1.63mm; CI 1.43; SI 2.86.
Coloration: The following yellowish: marks on paraocular area; marks on pronotal lobe, and spot on anterior portion of tegula; basal spot on fore tibia, basal spot on middle tibia, basal 1/3 of hind tibia; and tibial spur. Other all basitarsi, mediotarsi, distitarsi and tarsal claws yellowish brown. Flagellum, veins and stigma, apical bands of tergum brown. Other parts all black.
Structure: Clypeus pit-reticulation and striation mixed, punctures shallow, minute to fine and sparse, some elongated; supraclypeal area similar to clypeus; lower portion of paraocular area pit-reticulation, punctures shallow, minute and scattered; upper portion of paraocular area with deep, minute and close to sparse punctures; frons above antennae area with extremely minute punctures and wrinkles; rest of frons and vertex with punctures deep, minute and dense to close; genal area as broad as eyes in lateral view, punctures minute and close, some irregularly shaped; malar area very short, microridged; pronotal collar roundly thickened; mesoscutum pitreticulation, moderately shiny, punctures uniformly distributed, minute to fine and close; scutellum moderately shiny, punctures similar to mesoscutum; metanotum pit-reticulation, punctures minute and sparse; propodeum TRN, OBL and lateral carina indistinct, basal area of propodeum with longitudinal wrinkles, posterior portion rugose with subcontiguous punctures (fig. 9c); T1 transverse lineolate-reticulation, shiny, punctures minute and close (fig. 9e), T2 and the following terga transverse lineolate-reticulation, but punctures bigger and denser.
Pilosity: Hairs on apical margin of clypeus, vertex and frons brown, short and very sparse; scape with erect brown hairs, short and sparse; hairs on flagellum whitish brown, dense and short; hairs on genal area brown, extremely short and sparse; hairs on mesoscutum, scutellum, metanotum, and mesopleuron brown, short and sparse; posterior portion of propodeum white, short and dense; pronotal lobe with short dense yellowish hairs; legs with short and moderate dense yellowish brown hairs; hairs on terga brown, extremely short and sparse.

Discussion. The male terminalia characters of this new species are special as follows. Compared with H. hyrcanius , in this species, apical lobes of S7 much longer, and outer margin covered with dense long hairs; S8 short, apical process short and apiciform in dorsal view (but truncate in H. hyrcanius ), in lateral view it is broad; its gonostylus broad (but much slender in H. hyrcanius ).
Distribution. China, Yunnan Province.
Etymology. The species is dedicated to professor Shuichi Ikudome, a Hylaeus expert from Japan, for his various help to us.
