Diagnosis. This species is quite close to T. unispina and T. hainana on wing pattern and male genitalic features. It differs from those two species in that the shape of the median process of the dorsal part of the gnathos in the male genitalia is semicircular, the ventral plate is nearly butterfly shaped, and the anellus is broadened and with two strongly sclerotized, acute processes basally. It also differs from T. hainana in that the socii are shorter, the posterior margin of the eighth tergite is not distinctly extended; the eighth sternite is bell-like, with the posterior margin concave, not rounded.

Wang Linyao, 1♀ (paratype of T. leva , recorded as “ ♂, Yunnan, Menglun , 9.IX.1981 ” in error) ( IZCAS) .

Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Hubei, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Guangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan), Japan, Korea.

Remarks. Chu & Wang (1988) described T. leva based on two males. The external features and the male genitalia of T. leva are identical to those of T. crocea . Although the type series of T. crocea consists only of a single female, Watson included many more males in the material examined for his revision, which supports the case for synonymizing T. leva .
