Distribution and remarks: Atlantic Ocean: 35°N (Eastern limit) and 42°N (Western limit) south to the subtropical convergence. Eastern central Atlantic: 42°N- 45°S, but is apparently absent in Mauritanian upwelling region. Records for Gabon: MCZ 11763-1971, 122307/308-1971.
