Current name: Salvia sylvestris L. View in CoL ( Lamiaceae ).

Note: López González (in Anales Jard. Bot. Madrid 37: 207. 1980), presumably in ignorance of Hedge’s typifications, argued that this and S. nemorosa L. (1762) are homotypic, based on 42.14 (LINN). However, Hedge’s type choices for these names have priority.
