Etymology. The specific name is a noun in apposition and refers to the locality, where this species was collected.

Diagnosis. With its pits on the carapace surface X. krabi sp. nov. is similar to X. xelo and X. hystrix ( Figs 39A View FIGURE 39 ; 41A View FIGURE 41 ) but can be distinguished from both by the presence of rather large microsculpture on the male cheliceral promargin and on the palpal patella and tibia ( Figs 39G View FIGURE 39 ; 40B, D, E View FIGURE 40 ). Unlike other congeners the females also bear microsculpture on the palpal patella and tibia ( Fig. 41H View FIGURE 41 , arrow).

Description. Male. Total length 1.86 mm. Carapace: Orange-brown, ovoid in dorsal view, strongly elevated in lateral view, anteriorly narrowed to 0.49 times its maximum width or less, with angular posterolateral corners, posterolateral edge with pair of pits, anterolateral corners without extensions or projections, posterolateral surface with 1 pair of spikes ( Fig. 39A, C, E View FIGURE 39 ), surface of pars cephalica and sides smooth, fovea present. Lateral margin without denticles. Clypeus: Curved downwards in frontal view, vertical in lateral view, high, ALE separated from edge of carapace by their radius or more ( Fig. 39E View FIGURE 39 ). Eyes: ALE largest, all eyes oval. Posterior eye row recurved from above, straight from front. ALE separated by their radius to diameter, ALE and PLE touching, PLE and PME separated by less than PME radius, PME touching ( Fig. 39A, E View FIGURE 39 ). Sternum: Longer than wide, sickle-shaped structures not touching, but elongated fan-like anteriorly. Radial furrows opposite coxae III appearing as sclerotized impressions, elongated fan-like anteriorly ( Fig. 39D View FIGURE 39 ). Surface smooth ( Fig. 39B,D View FIGURE 39 ). Mouthparts: Chelicerae straight, anterior face with swelling, promargin with microsculpture ( Fig. 39G View FIGURE 39 ). Labium rectangular, indented at middle, with 3–5 setae on anterior margin. Abdomen: Book-lung covers elliptical. Scuto-pedicel region with W-shaped scutal ridge ( Fig. 39F View FIGURE 39 ). Dorsal scutum orange brown, middle surface and sides smooth, anterior half without projecting denticles. Epigastric scutum not protruding. Postepigastric scutum with short posteriorly directed lateral apodemes. Posterior spiracles connected by groove. Legs: Tibia with three, metatarsi with one trichobothria each. Genitalia: Sperm pore large, situated in front of anterior spiracles. Trochanter normal size, unmodified. Femur two or more times as long as trochanter, attaching to patella basally; patella shorter than femur, with very pronounced microsculpture on prolateral side; tibia two times as long as patella, with very pronounced microsculpture on prolateral side, with three trichobothria ( Fig. 40D View FIGURE 40 ); cymbium pale orange, ovoid in dorsal view, not fused with bulb; bulb pale orange, 1 to 1.5 times as long as cymbium, distal part with several dark apophyses, one slightly elongated and triangle-shaped at its tip, and two membranous outgrowths dorsally ( Fig. 40 View FIGURE 40 ).

Female. Total length 1.95 mm. Female palp spineless, femora with two strong, spine-like hairs ventrally, tibiae with three trichobothria and very pronounced microsculpture prolaterally; patella with very pronounced microsculpture prolaterally ( Fig. 41D, H View FIGURE 41 , arrow). Abdomen: Epigastric scutum slightly protruding ( Fig. 41C View FIGURE 41 ). Genitalia: Epigastric furrow wide. Anterior margin of postepigastric scutum sclerotized, short scape extending posteriorly, surrounded by sclerotized half-circle, lined with numerous needle-like hairs ( Figs 41F, G View FIGURE 41 ; 42A–D View FIGURE 42 ).
