Diagnosis. this species group is composed of brachypterous species – flightless species with atrophied hindwing and is revised in Nunes and Vaz-de-Mello 2016. The group is differentiated of other by the following combined characters: anterior portion of pronotal disc with two to four lobes; hindwing atrophied ( Figure 7 View Figure 7 (h)); pronotum wider than elytra in dorsal view ( Figure 41 View Figure 41 ); elytra strongly convex in lateral view and elytra lacking humeral callus.
