Diagnosis. MALE. Distance between posterior margin of eye and posterior margin of head 1.7 × longitudinal diameter of eye. Clypeus medially concave, anteriorly with median broad rectangle projection; lateral section of clypeus concave, coarsely punctate; basal median area glabrous and shiny. Mandible robust, apically tridentate, basally beneath slightly widened, rounded. Notaulus and parapsidal furrow incomplete, former longer than latter. Scutellum evenly sculptured. Mesosternum midway to anterior margin mesally with paired high apically acuminate lamellae. Wings infuscated, veins and pterostigma dark. First metasomal tergum 2.0 × as long as broad. Felt line on tergum 2 about 1.5 × felt line on sternum 2. Volsellar cuspis mesally with rather short setae. Head, legs and metasoma black, mesosoma ferruginous-red, mandible preapically and metasomal segment 1 basally ferruginousred. Metasomal tergum 2 posteriorly and tergum 3 with band of sparse, yellow setae. Body length 9.2–13.0 mm. FEMALE unknown.
