Type species: Mystacides gracilis Burmeister, 1839 by subsequent designation of Mosely (1936). Synonyms: Notanatolica MacLachlan, 1866 , synonymised by Mosely (1936); Pseudonema MacLachlan, 1862, synonymised by Ulmer (1905); Tetracentron Brauer, 1865 , synonymised by Ulmer (1907); Tobikera Matsumura, 1931, synonymised by Tsuda (1942).
