( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 )

Zonodorellus lateralis Poppius, 1915: 68 .

Pseudoloxops lateralis Carvalho, 1980: 658 View in CoL ; Yasunaga & Duwal, 2017: 292, 294; Yasunaga & Takai, 2017: 40.

Specimen examined. [ZCDTU] 1♀, Bach Ma National Park (16.2281, 107.8583), Loc Tri, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province, Vietnam, 25.vi.2023, by light trap, G. Jang leg.

Host. Unknown.

Distribution. Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam (Central) *.

Diagnosis. Distinguished by dorsum being mostly yellowish brown with sanguineous outer margin from head to apex of cuneus; antennae coloration clearly bipartite, first and base of second segment sanguineous, others entirely pale brown; first segment entirely reddish, inner margin slightly paler; head mostly pale brown, except for the red line near compound eye and clypeus; pronotum mostly pale brown with sanguineous outer margin; scutellum entirely pale brown, except for red apical marking; hemelytra mostly pale brown with reddish markings and sanguineous margin on embolial area; clavus mostly pale brown with a pair of reddish markings apically; corium mostly pale brown with reddish outer and posterior margins; cuneus with sanguineous outer margin; vein where closed to cuneus sanguineous; posterior margin of membrane grayish; legs entirely pale brown.

Description. see Poppius (1915) for the original description, and Yasunaga & Duwal (2017) for the illustrations of male genitalia. Female genitalia: not examined.

Measurements (in mm). Female (n=1) Body length, clypeus–apex of membrane: 3.12; head length, excluding collar: 0.25; head width, including compound eyes: 0.64; vertex width: 0.31; 1 st antennal segment length: 0.47; 2 nd antennal segment length: 1.22; 3 rd antennal segment length: 0.52; 4 th antennal segment length: missing; total antennal length (I–III): 2.21; mesal pronotal length: 0.35; posterior pronotal maximal width (straight): 0.97; anterior scutellar width: 0.75; mesal scutellar length: 0.56; commissure length: 0.68; maximal width across hemelytron: 0.58.

Key to the Pseudoloxopidea View in CoL and Pseudoloxops species in Vietnam

1. Body almost unicolorous, brown to dark brown tinged with reddish markings; first antennal segment short, subequal to vertex width; scutellum with two indistinct medial stripes, without distinct polygonal marking; left paramere sinuate-shaped, with serrated process; endosoma with curved spicule............................ Pseudoloxopidea ruberuniformis sp. nov.

– Body bicolorous, creamy yellowish brown with sanguineous patterns; first antennal segment long, more than vertex width; scutellum with distinct polygonal marking..................................................... Pseudoloxops View in CoL 2

2. First antennal segment mostly reddish brown; base of second antennal segment reddish brown; scutellum with one small reddish polygonal marking apically; inner margin of clavus pale brown, without any coloration; corium along claval suture pale brown, without any coloration; left paramere bifurcate, hypophysis originating at middle of sensory lobe; endosoma with long, narrow and sharp spicule...................................................... Pseudoloxops lateralis (Poppius) View in CoL

– First antennal segment mostly pale brown, with reddish stripe at lateral margin; base of second antennal segment pale brown; scutellum with one reddish rhombic marking medially; inner margin of clavus reddish brown; corium along claval suture reddish brown; left paramere flat with broad sensory lobe, its outer margin blunt and round; endosoma with one club-shaped endosomal process and one short and partly broad spicule......................... Pseudoloxops clavolineatus sp. nov.
