Diagnosis. Differs from other genera by dorsum being unicolorously pale brown, the length being around 3 mm, with regularly distributed dark spots; head short and vertical; first antennal segment distinctly short, shorter than head length; genital segment with spine-like setae (updated from Yasunaga (1999)).
