Host associations in Iran. Melanaspis inopinata on Pistacia vera (Yazdani & Rajabi 1993) , Didesmococcus unifasciatus on almond (Golpayagani et al. 2010; Lotfalizadeh 2010b). Distribution in Iran. Kerman (Yazdani & Rajabi 1993), Markazi (Golpayagani et al. 2010; Lotfalizadeh 2010b).
General distribution. Cosmopolitan.
