Synonym in Iranian literature. Encyrtus scutellatus (Swederus, 1795) ( Esfandiari 2002; Esfandiari et al. 2005).

Host associations in Iran. Sphaerolecanium prunastri on Prunus ( Esfandiari 2002; Esfandiari et al. 2005), Parthenolecanium corni on Juglans regia ( Jalilvand et al. 2013) .

Distribution in Iran. Chaharmahal & Bakhtiyari ( Esfandiari 2002; Esfandiari et al. 2005), Guilan ( Ghahari et al. 2010), Kermanshah ( Jalilvand et al. 2013).

General distribution. Holarctic and Oriental regions.
