Genus Strouhaloniscellus Tabacaru, 1993 View in CoL
Type species: Haplophthalmus anophthalmus Strouhal, 1939 by original designation and monotypy.
Diagnosis. Unpigmented body, eyes absent. Cephalon with three rows of tubercles on the vertex, pereion with four to six tubercles per side, and pleon without dorsal ornamentation. Pleon much narrower than pereion with small epimera of pleonites 3–5. Male pereiopod 7 carpus bearing a strong stout seta on distal sternal margin. Male pleopod 1 exopod about twice as long as wide, with distal part narrower than basal, bent outwards and bearing a rounded lobe.
