Notes

Authority: Schmidt 1918; Unlikely to be from India: Incorrectly listed in India and Burma by Matsumura (1917). According to Metcalf (1963) Matsumura referred to a specimen misidentified as Scieroptera formosana (but in fact Scieroptera splendidula ) and likely stated the locality information associated with S. splendidula and not S. formosana .
