Local distribution and occurrence: Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island; occasional (13%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, pebble, shells, rocks, Sargassum spp. , tubes of blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus , and sponges.
