Syn.: Ampithoe fresnellii Audouin, 1826 ; Gammarus fresnelii Audouin, 1826 ; Melita fresnelii ( Audouin, 1826) ; Paramoera fresnelii ( Audouin, 1826)

Regional records: Kuwait: Myers & Nithyanandan 2016; this study (KISR-FM075C/ Amphipoda /027; Fig. 3K ).

Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Ras Ajuza), Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Boubyan Island, Failaka Island, Auha Island; occasional (19%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, rocks, shells, mixed rubble, pebble, Sargassum spp. and other macroalgae, tubes of blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus , sponges, hydroids, and ropes.
