Local distribution and occurrence: Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran, Failaka Island, Auha Island, Kubbar Island, Qaruh Island, Umm Al-Maradim Island; occasional (19%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, pebble, rocks, dead corals, rocks with algae, sponges, and tubes of blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus , shells.
