Regional records: Kuwait: Myers & Nithyanandan 2016; this study (KISR-FM075C/ Amphipoda /070); Iranian side of the Gulf: Momtazi 2017; Momtazi & Zarei 2017.
Local distribution and occurrence: Khor Al-Sabiyah (Al-Shumaima), Kuwait Bay (Ras Ajuza), Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Qaruh Island; frequent (32%).
Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, rocks, pebble, shells, Sargassum spp. and other algae, sponges, tubes of blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus , hydroids, and ropes.
