Local distribution and occurrence: Khor Al-Sabiyah (Al-Shumaima), Ras Al-Sabiyah, Kuwait Bay (Al-Judailiat, Al-Aushairij, Al-Salam Beach, Ras Ajuza), Al-Messilah beach, Masfat Al-Ahmadi, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Kubbar Island, Qaruh Island, Umm Al-Maradim Island; frequent (32%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; mud, sand, rocks, pebble, shells, dead corals, algae, tubes of blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus , ropes, sponges, oyster shells aggregation, and hydroid-bryozoan associations.
