Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Ras Ajuza), Al-Messilah beach, Masfat Al-Ahmadi, Ras Al-Zour, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Kubbar Island, Qaruh Island, Umm Al-Maradim Island; frequent (27%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, rocks, dead corals, pebble, Sargassum spp. and other algae, sponges, blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus tubes, seaweeds, hydroids associations, and tunicates.
