Local distribution and occurrence: Khor Al-Sabiyah (Al-Shumaima), Kuwait Bay (Al-Judailiat, Al-Aushairij, Ras Ajuza), Al-Messilah beach, Masfat Al-Ahmadi, Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Kubbar Island, Qaruh Island; frequent (35%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; mud, sand, shells, pebble, rocks, dead corals, sponges, algae, tubes of blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus , and artificial substrates (ropes).
