Regional record: Kuwait: this study (KISR-FM075C/ Amphipoda /038).

Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Ras Ajuza), Al-Messilah beach, Al-Khiran, Failaka Island, Auha Island; occasional (8%).

Habitat: Intertidal zone; sand, sponges, tubes of blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus , Sargassum spp. and other algae.
