Local distribution and occurrence: Khor Al-Sabiyah (Al-Maghasel, Al-Shumaima), Kuwait Bay (Al-Salam beach), Ras Al-Zour, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Kubbar Island; frequent (23%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; mud, rocks, shells, rocks with algae, sponges, Sargassum spp. , and ropes.
