Regional records: Kuwait: this study (KISR-FM075C/ Amphipoda /057); Saudi Arabia: Barnard & Thomas 1984 (as Siphonoecetes arabicus ).

Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Al-Judailiat, Al-Aushairij), Salmiya town beach, Al-Bida’a, Al-Funaitees; occasional (13%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zone; sand, shells, pebble, algae, and ropes.
