Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Ras Ajuza), Al-Messilah beach, Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Kubbar Island, Qaruh Island, Umm Al-Maradim Island; frequent (26%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, rocks, dead corals, pebble, shells with algae, sponges, Sargassum spp. , and ropes.
