Type species
Cadulus tetraschistus Watson, 1879 (original designation).
Diagnosis
Shell small to medium, strong, smooth, white, translucent when fresh, polished when dead. Maximum diameter located in anterior third or nearly oral aperture. Apex wide, with four deep notches, four lobes, being two laterals, one dorsal, one ventral. Preapical callus weak.
