Type Locality: Philippines, Luzon Isl, Abra Province, Abra, 3500 ft (1067 m).

Vernacular Names: Luzon Cordillera Apomys.

Distribution: Greater Luzon Faunal Region. Endemic to Central Cordillera of N Luzon (Benguet, Ilocos Norte, and Mountain provinces), 1060-2500 m (Musser, 1982b; Heaney et al., 1998).

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: Included within the Apomys abrae hylocetes Group by Musser (1982 b).
