Type material. Female holotype from Colombia, Antioquia Department, Remedios (7.02, -74.69), M.A. Serna coll., deposited in MCZ 30617.
Etymology. The species name is a toponym in apposition referring to the type locality.
Diagnosis. Females of Kiekie antioquia ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 A–B) resemble those of K. sinuatipes ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 A–B) by the large median field of the epigynum, but it can be distinguished by the narrow median field and elongated and narrow lateral projections. Internally, it can be distinguished by smaller spermathecae and sinuous copulatory ducts.
Description. Male. Unknown.
Female (MCZ 30617). Total length 27.50. Carapace 11.70 long and 9.40 wide. Clypeus 0.47 high. Eye diameters: AME 0.45, ALE 0.37, PME 0.47, PLE 0.47. Legs measurements: I: femur 11.80/ patella 5.40/ tibia 10.90/ metatarsus 9.10/ tarsus 3.10/ total 40.30; II: 10.80/ 5.00/ 10.00/ 8.50/ 3.00/ 37.30; III: 9.30/ 4.30/ 7.90/ 8.30/ 3.00/ 32.80; IV: 11.50/ 4.50/ 10.50/ 12.80/ 3.30/ 42.60. Leg formula 4123. Leg spination: tibia I and II v2-2 -2-2-2, r0, p0, III and IV v2-2 -2, r1-1, p1-1; metatarsus I, II v2-2 -2, r0, p0, III v2-2 -2, r1-1, p1-1, IV v1-1 -1-2-2, r1-1, p1- 1. Epigynum ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 A–B): median field subpentagonal and wide; lateral fields with small hyaline projection; lateral projections thin and elongated; copulatory ducts laminar and elongated, with one loop; spermathecae beanshaped and elongated; fertilization ducts small.
