Figs 11 View FIGURE 11 C–D, 15B
Type material. Female holotype from Costa Rica, San José Province, San José, La Verbena (9.90, -84.11), Tristan coll., deposited in MCZ 79102. Paratypes: 2 females from Costa Rica, San José Province, Santa Maria de Dota (9.65, -83.96), Tristan coll., deposited in MCZ 79091 and 79092.
Etymology. The species name is a toponym in apposition referring to the type locality.
Diagnosis. The females of Kiekie verbena ( Fig. 11C View FIGURE 11 ) are easily distinguished from all other species of the genus by the shape of the epigynum, with short and wide median field, long lateral projection of the lateral field and short copulatory opening. Internally ( Fig. 11D View FIGURE 11 ), it presents a short copulatory duct, lacking the prominent laminar curve present in all other species.
