Type genus: Copiphora Serville, 1831
Diagnosis (modified from Karny, 1912).
Body size median to large. Head elongate, cone-like; rather convergent apically in antero-ventral view. Fastigium with notch at basal ventral surface, distinct or indistinct; wider at its base than antennal scape at base, and extending beyond the bases of the antennae. Tegmina usually extending over apex of abdomen.
